Not often as a designer do you hear after your design presentations, “we love all of this, can you make it even weirder??”

The client was a tech company that specializes in security, so as you can imagine, I’ve kept their identity confidential. They hired Rove to turn their boring, typical office space into one that was “badass” (those were their exact requirements, who could say no to that?!).

This office was a retreat for employees coming from all over the world - they really wanted to showcase what Denver and Colorado are all about. They wanted something hip, colorful, fun, and unusual. They also didn’t have a typical office culture - theirs came with encouraged video-gaming breaks and taking time outside. The idea was to make employees feel at home with art + objects they’d actually put in their own homes. Anything quirky was highly encouraged, especially sci-fi! Lots of books, greenery, and conversation pieces.
